You'll have beach views from the deck! Enjoy the shade on the covered deck or get some sun on the uncovered portion. The living room and kitchen are open, with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need to cook all of your favorite meals. The kids will love staying in the bunk room! This home has wifi so you can stay connected throughout your trip. Enjoy a family barbecue downstairs and have dinner on the picnic table. When you're ready to head down to the beach it is just a short drive, walk or golf-cart ride away! This home is pet friendly with a $200 non-refundable pet fee! (no more than 2 small dogs, 20 lb weigh limit)

Cancellation Policy
We understand there can be unforeseen emergencies that could cause you to cancel your reservation.We will try to resolve any and all situations with you. However, please note our cancellation policy below. Bolivar Escapes reserves the right to substitute an equal rental property if necessary.

There are no refunds for appliance failure (including air conditioning), utility failure, internet failure or circumstances beyond our control, including weather.

Our standard cancellation policy is effective for all reservations starting on or after June 1, 2020.

If you choose to cancel more than 30 before your scheduled arrival date, a refund will be issued, minus the cancellation fee, the non-refundable reservation fee plus tax, and the travel insurance premium, if taken.

If you choose to cancel within 30 days of your scheduled arrival, a 50 % refund will only be issued if we are able to re-rent the property for the same time period. If you purchased travel insurance you can contact RedSky directly at 866-889-7409.

If further emergency orders from Galveston County or the State of Texas prevent check-ins at any time beyond June 1, 2020 we will issue new guidance. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at bolivarescapes@att.net with any questions about your specific reservation. As of 11:30 am June 29, 2020 There are no state or county closure orders that impact short term rentals or beach access.”



Hurricane, Tropical Storms, tropical Depressions & Mandatory Evacuation Policy
Bolivar Escapes does not offer refunds in the event of a mandatory hurricane evacuation nor will Bolivar Escapes transfer the reservation to alternative dates in the case of an evacuation - whether voluntary or mandatory.

In the event of an ordered evacuation due to hurricanes or other storms, you are required by state law to evacuate the property. If you have declined trip cancellation insurance, you shall not be entitled to a refund by Bolivar Escapes. Refunds for the period of mandatory evacuation will be made solely by the travel insurance provider, provided the Guest has purchased the optional trip cancellation insurance. Refunds and coverage issues will be processed and determined solely by the travel insurance provider. Refer to the trip cancellation policy or contact the travel insurance provider directly for specific information and/or refund procedures. If you leave due to "Storm Warnings" or "Voluntary Evacuation", Bolivar Escapes will not issue refunds. Bolivar Escapes will not issue refunds in part or in full for inclement weather. (See "Travel Insurance" section below for details).

We strongly recommend that Guests purchase travel insurance for stays occuring during hurricane season - June 1 through November 30. Please see the "Travel Insurance" section below for details.

OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION: By signing the Rental Contract, each Guest acknowledges being offered insurance to compensate the Guest for losses or damages resulting from loss of use of the property due to a mandatory evacuation order. If the Guest refuses said offer to purchase travel insurance, the Guest shall not be entitled to a refund of monies paid. the Guest also agrees to comply with all orders of evacuation.

Travel Insurance
Things happen! Unforeseen circumstances such as sudden illnesses, job loss, deaths or hurricanes do occur.

Travel Insurance is offered to help protect your vacation investment. This insurance is optional, but we recommend it so that you may be financially reimbursed in case of unforeseen events.

All Guests will receive an email outlining the travel insurance along with the Rental Contract and Guest Registration forms. Travel Insurance premiums are non-taxable and are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Deposit Policy
Half of rental subtotal and half of taxes plus the total amount of all fees will be required as a reservation payment. The reservation payment must be received within seven days of confirmation or a cancellation will automatically occur. The remaining charges will be due 3 days prior to check-in. Personal checks will be accepted for rentals if received at least 14 days or more prior to arrival.
