Casa Carmen

Renters Must Be 25 years of age or older to rent. Casa Carmen is a quaint, cozy home. It is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home accommodating 9 guests. This pet-friendly home allows small pets with a $200 non-refundable fee. Casa Carmen is located on the beachside in the Bluewater subdivision. The open living room/kitchen floor plan makes entertaining fun, and when the cooks are in the kitchen, they are never left out. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a daybed with an attached full bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The 3rd bedroom has one queen bed and one twin bed. There is a full guest bathroom. On the deck, you will enjoy watching beautiful sunrises. Casa Carmen is a few rows from the beach, but you can see a view of the ocean. The downstairs covered space is great for sitting and enjoying the afternoon with friends and family while cooking burgers on the charcoal grill. There is a concrete area with a basketball goal for children to enjoy a game of basketball. There is also an additional parking area for a boat or trailer. When the sand and waves call out, there is easy access to the beach via walking, Golf Cart, or vehicle.
This home is great for spending time with family and disconnecting from the “real” world. Come and enjoy a peaceful time at Casa Carmen!
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes Cannot Guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay, and Cannot Offer Refunds for disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rents. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for renter use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house and standard beds are made for your arrival. Paper products and cleaning supplies are not included.
There is a starter pack consisting of the items below, please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tab (if applicable)
2 laundry tab (if applicable)
1 small dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest.
Don't forget the beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen! Once booked, log into your portal for things to do on the Peninsula.
All of our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not Galveston.
