General's Quarters

General’s Quarters is a unique, comfy home that sleeps 8 guests. General’s is a 4 bedroom 2 bath home located in the Tideland’s subdivision. This cute home has everything you’ll need for the perfect vacation stop for your family! The kitchen is well stocked to make all your favorite meals. Coffee lovers will be happy with the choice of making a full pot of coffee in the drip pot or a single cup in the Keurig machine! With the kitchen being open to the living room and dining area, you can always be a part of all the conversations and fun! The cozy living room is the perfect spot to wind down after a busy day at the beach. Your family and friends can watch movies and shows on the Smart TV in the living room and each bedroom. Outside on the deck, you’ll find covered and uncovered areas to suit all your needs. Downstairs you can enjoy the beautiful landscaping and plants. When you feel like having something grilled to munch on, you will not have any worries, because a charcoal grill is waiting for you to enjoy! Needing some vitamin “Sea”? The beach is just a short walk, golf cart, or vehicle drive away! Don’t forget to wash off all the sand in the downstairs shower! This home is pet friendly and allows up to 2 dogs (no heavier than 40 lbs.) with a non-refundable fee of $200.00. There is a queen bed in the primary bedroom, as well as a queen bed in bedroom 2 and bedroom 3. In bedroom 4 you will find a twin/twin bunkbed.
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes Cannot Guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay, and Cannot Offer Refunds for disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rents. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for renter use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house and standard beds are made for your arrival. Paper products and cleaning supplies are not included.
There is a starter pack consisting of the items below, please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tab (if applicable)
2 laundry tab (if applicable)
1 small dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest.
Don't forget the beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen! Once booked, log into your portal for things to do on the Peninsula.
All of our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not Galveston.
