Happy Place is a cute home with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, sleeping 8 guests. It is located on the Emerald Beach II subdivision. Don’t forget your furry best friend! Happy Place is a pet friendly home that is welcome to small dogs with a $200 non-refundable fee. This affordable home has all the comforts of home! The kitchen has everything you’ll need to make your favorite meals. The living room has TV with satellite for your entertainment. When you walk outside, you can enjoy the amazing breeze from the deck. Downstairs, you’ll find a charcoal BBQ grill and a picnic table, so you can enjoy dinner outside! Once you are ready to spend some time at the beach, it’s just a short walk, golf cart, or dive away! There is an outdoor shower to rinse off after a long, fun day at the beach! This is the perfect place to call home on your family vacation. We hope you find your Happy place at this great home! The primary bedroom has a queen bed and there 2 twin/full beds in the 2nd bedroom.
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes Cannot Guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay, and Cannot Offer Refunds for disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rents. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for renter use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house and standard beds are made for your arrival. Paper products and cleaning supplies are not included.
There is a starter pack consisting of the items below, please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tab (if applicable)
2 laundry tab (if applicable)
1 small dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest.
Don't forget the beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen! Once booked, log into your portal for things to do on the Peninsula.
All of our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not Galveston.

Happy Place

Happy Place was just that! It was the second time that we have stayed at this property and again, it did not disappoint.  The beach was only seconds away and the space was clean and very inviting.  The house was clean on our entry and all amenities were present.  It was definitely a great space to spend our holiday.

We loved this home. The tiny details they put into making you feel comfortable and making you feel like they took the time to clean.  The decorative towel placement on the beds reminded us of being on a cruise. They have a bag that was a gift for us, they had sealed soap and shampoos in the bathrooms and in the kitchen a sealed bag with individually sealed hand soap, dis soap, dishwsher pods, laundry pods were cute and convenient.  There was a guest book which was enjoyable to read and plenty of games to keep us entertained. 10/10 would stay again. It was a close walk to the beach and direct beach access. We loved it.

Happy Place is gorgeous, clean and spacious. It’s a few minutes from the beach. My family couldn’t utilize the porch or downstairs area because the mosquitoes were out in swarms. I will definitely rent this space again.
