Life's A Beach

Life's a Beach is a newly built 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, plus a loft home, that sleeps 8 This cozy home is located in The Villas at Roll Over Bay, in Gilchrist. The open-concept living and kitchen area will make you feel right at home. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities you would need to prepare meals for your family. The island bar, provides food prep area as well as seating. In the living room, you'll find comfortable seating for everyone to relax and visit. This home is equipped with Wifi so that you can stay connected to all your devices, as well as stream your favorite shows and movies on the Smart TV. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, and a loft sleeping area. The ladder to the loft area is steep and may not be suitable for small children.
Outside on the oversized deck, you will have a view of beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and the beach. You will enjoy dining and relaxing on the deck at the picnic table and raised deck chairs. (Not in the Photos) This neighborhood also has a newly built playground and a swimming pool area that is available for your use. (Please follow all rules when using these facilities. There will not be lifeguards on duty at the pool area. )
When the waves start calling, you are just 300 yards from the shore! You can access the beach via walking, golf cart ride, or vehicle. After a fun day playing in the sand, return to your cabin, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and grill something scrumptious on the charcoal grill. Bedrooms 1 and 2 both have king beds, with a queen bed in the loft and a sofa bed in the living area.
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes Cannot Guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay, and Cannot Offer Refunds for disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rents. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for renter use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house and standard beds are made for your arrival. Paper products and cleaning supplies are not included.
There is a starter pack consisting of the items below, please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tab (if applicable)
2 laundry tab (if applicable)
1 small dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest
Don't forget the beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen! Once booked, log into your portal for things to do on the Peninsula.
All of our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not Galveston.
