The Salty Mermaid, experience Crystal Beach in this pet-friendly, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, sleeps 8 vacation rental with beachfront views!! Relax and enjoy beautiful beach decor, furnishings, and contemporary finishes. The open-concept living/dining/kitchen area is perfect for you and your family to visit, while the walls full of windows bring the Gulf views inside. The living room has an electric fireplace for those chilly nights and the ambiance. In the kitchen, you will find all the amenities you need to prepare meals for your vacation, including a separate coffee and beverage bar. This home is equipped with WIFI and Smart TV's in all the rooms. Soak up the sun and enjoy the views from any of the 3 decks, or stroll to the beach, which is seconds away, for sand castles, beachcombing, and more! Outside is ample seating to enjoy your favorite beverages while observing our splendid sunrises over the Gulf. Downstairs is a large covered space for gathering, playing games, and grilling. There is even a huge fenced yard for the little ones and pets to roam freely. We charge a $200 Non-Refundable pet fee. All the extras make this house the perfect choice for family and friends year-round. There is a primary bedroom with a king bed, the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, and in the 3rd bedroom you will find a full/full bunk.
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes Cannot Guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay, and Cannot Offer Refunds for disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rents. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for renter use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house and standard beds are made for your arrival. Paper products and cleaning supplies are not included.
There is a starter pack consisting of the items below, please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tab (if applicable)
2 laundry tab (if applicable)
1 small dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest.
Don't forget the beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen! Once booked, log into your portal for things to do on the Peninsula.
All of our homes are located at Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar/Gilchrist. Not Galveston.
