La Villa del Mar

La Villa del Mar is a newly built home located in The Villas at Roll Over Bay, in Gilchrist, Texas. This 2 bedroom plus loft, 2 bath home comfortably sleeps 8 people. As you enter the home, you will notice the open kitchen/ living room space. In the kitchen, you will find everything from a crockpot to a coffee pot, and cooking gadgets in between. Making meals for your family will be easy. For inside entertainment, this home has TV's in the living room and all bedrooms. For your enjoyment, this home has wifi. Just put in the password code information to stream your favorite shows or movies on the TV's. There are two bedrooms on the main level and additional sleeping in the loft. The ladder, to the loft, is steep and may not be suitable for small children. Outside you will be enchanted by the glorious sunrise and sunset views while sitting on the deck. Downstairs, you can gather around the Tiki bar and picnic table. Don't forget the marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate to make yummy S'mores around the firepit. There is also a charcoal pit that will make the "Grill Master" in the family happy to fire up and grill something tasty for the family. The children can be entertained riding bicycles around the neighborhood. This neighborhood also has a newly built playground and a swimming pool area that is available for your use. (Please follow all rules when using these facilities. There will not be lifeguards on duty at the pool area. ) When the waves and sand start calling, the beach is just a quick vehicle or golf cart ride away. After a fun day at the beach, be sure to rinse off in the outdoor shower. We are sure you will enjoy your stay at Villa del Mar! There is a queen bed in the primary bedroom and also in the guest bedroom. The loft bedroom has a queen bed and there is a full size sofa sleeper in the main living area.
Even when provided, internet access TV/cell service can be unreliable on the Bolivar Peninsula. We are a rural community. We apologize, but Bolivar Escapes Cannot Guarantee that these amenities will be working during your stay, and Cannot Offer Refunds for disruption of these services. This home might have an outdoor camera(s) to monitor the exterior of the home. Any attempt at disabling, redirecting or obscuring the camera(s) is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund of outstanding nights’ rents. If a home has a lift or elevator, it is not for renter use unless otherwise stated in comments or with permission from Bolivar Escapes.
We provide linens and bath towels in every house and standard beds are made for your arrival. Paper products and cleaning supplies are not included.
There is a starter pack consisting of the items below, please bring anything else you will need:
1 roll of paper towels
3 white kitchen trash bags
2 dishwasher tab (if applicable)
2 laundry tab (if applicable)
1 small dish soap
1 dish sponge
2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom
Small bar hand soap per bathroom
1 trial size of shampoo/conditioner per full bath
1 beauty bar per bath
Small salt and pepper
Small cooking oil
There will also be a bath towel set for each guest
Don't forget the beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen! Once booked, log into your portal for things to do on the Peninsula.
